I have been teaching yoga, therapeutic movement, and body awareness as healing arts since 2005. I'm a highly experienced yoga teacher and yoga therapist and harvest the richness of these body based practices in my current work as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner®.
As a somatic therapist, I support people to deepen body awareness, access and stay with their body sensations, understand and support their unique nervous system, and build the inner and outer resources needed to meet life as it is.
In addition to Somatic Experiencing®, my work is deeply informed by body based NVC, postgraduate study in counselling, applied psychology, free movement practices, and personal narrative writing.
I’m deeply fascinated by how our bodies carry story — how sensation and emotion intersect with our human need to make meaning through movement, language, and storytelling.
