I am committed to helping people heal from chronic tension/pain and other symptoms of stress and trauma, with an integrated approach centered around gaining regulation in the nervous system. After experiencing firsthand the dramatic shifts that can come from somatic work after trauma, I've made it my mission to make body-oriented therapies for healing stress and trauma accessible to those in my community and beyond.
Life can take its toll on us, and the body holds and remembers it all. And it expresses it via tension and pain, fight/flight and freeze patterns, postures, muscle tone, and gait, to name a few. At Studio A we work holistically with all that emerges with clients, meeting people where they are at and helping them gain ground in feeling at home in their body. We offer drop-in classes, group programs, as well as one-on-one trauma-informed massage therapy and somatic bodywork. I also offer online programs in order to reach a wider audience.
