I am passionate about helping people who have experienced complex trauma in childhood or as adults. My work is to support survivors to discover their own sense of strength and inner resiliency. I see therapy as a co-creative process in which I encourage free expression, including guided visualization, dream work or art therapy. I provide safe space for clients to trust their intuition about what their body wants to do, and what works best for them. My approach to SE is gentle and relaxed. I bring warmth, humor and empathy into the counseling relationship.
As a group facilitator at the WINGS foundation, I work with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. I currently serve as an educator for trauma survivors, offering workshops on personal boundaries, creative healing ritual, self-care and empowerment
While in-person sessions are ideal, Skype sessions can also be very beneficial. I will do Skype sessions for beginning and intermediate level SE students who need to meet their session provider requirements. Depending on the situation, I may also do remote sessions for LGBTQIA+ people in rural areas without access to an affirming provider in their area.
I have assisted several SE faculty, including Kathy Kain, Joshua Sylvae, Lael Keen and Alicen Halquist.
