Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, Trauma Therapist, Yoga Teacher
Hi, I’m Camille
My path to becoming a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner has been anything but linear. Like so many of the people I now support, I’ve navigated trauma that lived in my body long before I had words for it. I knew how to show up, how to function, how to be strong—but underneath, my nervous system was running on survival. It wasn’t until I encountered body-based healing that I truly began to understand what it meant to feel safe, grounded, and connected.
That turning point brought me to Somatic Experiencing®. This work helped me come home to myself—and now, it’s at the heart of how I support others.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Dakota and Minnesota, a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. I’m also a U.S. Air Force veteran (2002–2006) and a human who believes deeply in the power of presence, compassion, and co-regulation.
I specialize in supporting adults living with complex trauma, PTSD, and First Responder stress and burnout. My approach is grounded, relational, and body-centered. I trust the innate intelligence of the nervous system, and I work gently, at the pace each client’s system can hold. I believe healing doesn’t mean fixing—it means feeling, integrating, and reconnecting with who we truly are beneath the survival strategies.
Whether I’m offering therapy, teaching nervous system skills, or holding space in community settings, my intention is the same: to support people in finding safety, agency, and aliveness in their own bodies.
