It’s a privilege to work with people seeking support around trauma healing, grief and loss (including that of beloved pets), life transitions, disability-related challenges, blocks to creativity, sexuality and gender, relationships, and struggles with mood and anxiety.
I have a deep conviction in every person's innate ability to uncover and connect with their strengths to thrive, and believe that we can best do so in optimal conditions of felt safety and relational support.
My approach to the integration of mind-body therapies is influenced by somatic, relational, psychodynamic, person-centered, multicultural, and feminist schools of training. In particular, I integrate evidence-based and complementary approaches that include attachment-oriented, animal-assisted, and mindfulness-based therapies with Somatic Experiencing for trauma resolution.
Anchored in compassionate presence and cultivating curious exploration, my work is guided by culturally-responsive, anti-racist, socially-just, and resilience-informed values.
I am bilingual, fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, and offer clinical work, teaching, consulting, and training in both languages.
