Somatic Experiencing takes healing to a deeper level, in a way that continually moves me. Combined with ‘top-down’ approaches, it helps identify strengths and intentions beneath painful survival patterns. Shame, fear and anger often transform into vital life energy, which enables a shift to more dignified, masterful thriving.

As a private practice psychotherapist based in SF & Marin, I primarily work with adults, but also love to assist children in turning core wounds into core gifts. To do so, I integrate SE, CBT, Therapeutic Touch, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing, Drama, Art & Play Therapy techniques. I am comfortable working with a range of challenges: Trauma, mood & anxiety disorders, relationship issues, substance abuse &/or process addiction (compulsive gambling, shopping, sex), codependency, life transitions, career-related decisions, existential questions.
