Bio: Dr. Cat Poehling is a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) and founder of Tides Center for Wellness. She integrates SE with Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 2), and Dynamic Attachment Repatterining Experience (DARe), to support individuals navigating chronic stress, identity-based harm, and systemic trauma. Cat is a joyful and justice-driven trauma therapist and educator with 20+ years of experience in social services. Cat specializes in somatic psychotherapy for women and LGBTQ+ folks, integrating Somatic Experiencing®, IFS, and DARe. She is a sought after clinical supervisor, researcher, and program evaluator passionate about healing, curiosity, and collective transformation.
