Cherini Ghobrial

Dr. Cherini Ghobrial, PharmD., SEP

In a world that moves fast and demands more, it’s easy to lose connection—with ourselves, with our bodies, with what truly matters. But healing isn’t about keeping up. It’s about slowing down enough to listen.

Our bodies hold the stories of our survival, but they also hold the keys to our liberation. When we befriend the nervous system, we open the door to deeper resilience, expanded capacity, and a life rooted in authenticity instead of reactivity. What once felt like limitation can become a gateway to wholeness, self-trust, and the inner freedom.

A severe physical health crisis left me in debilitating chronic pain and severe chronic fatigue, forcing me to stop everything. It wasn’t until I worked with a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner that I realized my body wasn’t just breaking down—it was speaking. Years of chronic stress had left my nervous system stuck in survival mode. The exhaustion, tension, and pain weren’t just symptoms to fix; they were messages my body had been sending all along. I just hadn’t learned how to listen.

That realization changed everything. Through somatic healing and nervous system regulation, I didn’t just find relief—I found a whole new way of being.

Now, I bring both worlds together. My background as a Doctor of Pharmacy gives me a deep understanding of physiology, while my training as a UC Berkeley Certified Coach and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner allows me to support others on their own healing journey—one rooted in nervous system regulation, self-trust, trauma resolution, and embodied transformation.

If you’re navigating health challenges or simply seeking a deeper connection with your body’s wisdom, I’m here to help you learn to listen to your body, regulate your nervous system, and restore a felt sense of safety and ease.

I am a first-generation Egyptian American and a child of Egyptian immigrants. I am a survivor of complex trauma, including religious and medical trauma. My lived experience with chronic pain and my own personal healing journey fuels my deep passion for supporting others as they restore their health, heal their nervous systems, reclaim their wholeness, and build self-trust.
