Deanna Clasby has been a bodyworker since 2003. She is a certified Rolfer and integrates the trauma-informed bodywork approaches of Somatic Experiencing into her hands-on practice. The functional goals of sessions are to decrease, in a titrated way, the amount of bracing and tension held in the muscular and fasciae tissues.
This work is appropriate for clients whose bodies are still trying to recover from the shock of a physical accident or injury, and need this extra support in order to finally release their bracing pattern in their joints and soft tissues.
This work is appropriate for clients who are currently working with a mental health therapist and need a somatic adjunct to help their body relax, drop and unwind. If you have any questions about whether this level of care if appropriate for you and your goals, please contact RiverflameSomaticIntegration.com for a free consultation.
Please note, Deanna Clasby is a licensed bodyworker in the state of Washington only. Deanna Clasby is not a licensed mental health therapist, Deanna Clasby does not provide mental health therapy, and her work as a bodyworker is not a substitute for mental health therapy or medical care.
Thank You, Take Care & Be Well
Treatment sessions mostly involve hands-on table work, supporting physical relaxation in the musicals and facia via the titrated release ing of chronic bracing patterns.
As an active outdoor enthusiast from the Pacific Northwest, Deanna found her way down the path of bodywork & healing when she started addressing her own injuries so she could get back out to playing in the mountains. She has been a Somatic Practitioner since 2003.
