Djinane is a half Kuwaiti half French internationally published Creative Director, an award-winning Photographer, Somatic Movement Therapist & Educator (RSMT/E), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) focused on body-centered therapies. Deeply rooted within somatic psychology and embodiment practices, her work focuses on the body and mind connection primarily within Mindfulness, Neuroscience and Movement, to bring awareness through practice helping you move from habit to choice.
With a 13-year background in visual and expressive arts, her work is highly influenced by curiosity and playfulness, encouraging your sense of connection and safety to guide you through experiential embodied practices and remember your aliveness through supporting the regulation of your nervous system (which underlies every aspect of our physical, emotional, and psychological functioning). She invites you to step into a deep inward journey of self-discovery and self-care, engaging in a more resilient and strength-based process to re-connect to yourself, the environment and other.
Her fascination with the body (born based on her life curriculum) led her to study somatic psychology modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Integrative Somatic Parts Work, Body Mind Centering, Hanna Somatics Yoga, and Yoga Psychology. She is currently focusing on trauma-recovery work, working with and applying her teachers principles/practices in a context of healing, empowered awareness, and merging together her embodied tools that brought forth profound somatic transformation.
