Welcome, I'm a trauma-informed somatic practitioner based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I help sensitive people find relief from symptoms of chronic stress and trauma using the wisdom of their bodies.
I believe in a slow and mindful approach to working with the body and the nervous system. I also believe that it is possible to release many unhelpful emotional, mental and behavioural patterns by engaging our body-mind. I work one-on-one offering Somatic Experiencing sessions online. And I enjoy creating a safe and nurturing space for my clients to connect deeply to themselves.
My training and modalities:
I've been working with somatics since 2007 as a dancer and a movement facilitator. Later, I got certified as a yoga teacher having completed 300 hours of teacher training in traditional Hatha and Yin Yoga. As a trauma-informed yoga teacher, I specialise in functional anatomy and the mental health approach.
Additionally, I studied EFT/ TFT tapping and TRE/ Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, among other body-mind modalities.
Things I help with:
Difficulty calming down, managing emotions and overwhelm;
Difficulty setting boundaries;
Feeling numb or disconnected from the body;
Sleep issues and insomnia;
Psychosomatic symptoms, tension and fatigue.
In my Somatic Experiencing sessions I offer:
Safe space to explore, navigate and release strong emotions
Support in regulating /balancing the nervous system
Tools and information on how you can self-regulate
Help in finding your ground and reconnecting with yourself
Help in releasing physical blocks and tension so you can feel more at home in your body
