BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION FOR Frances Bernfeld, M.Ed., LMFT The Center for Family Enrichment For the past 35 years Frances Bernfeld, M.Ed. has been concerned with helping people achieve personal happiness, satisfaction in their marriages, with their families, friends and in the workplace. She has been a presenter for numerous organizations, schools, churches and other institutions as well as appearing for television and radio interviews. She has taught courses in graduate programs for counselors as well as private workshops on intimate relationship skills for couples and individuals. Ms. Bernfeld has been the co-host of the program, "Man to Woman", heard weekly on Tucson's local community radio station. Frances Bernfeld received a Bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley with a major in Psychology and a Master of Education degree from the University of Arizona with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Counseling. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Arizona. She has been a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy since 1980 and worked from 1981 until 2004 as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Mediator and Custody Evaluator at the Family Center of the Conciliation Court of Pima County in Tucson, Arizona. She has chaired several state conventions for the Arizona Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has served on the state board. She has also served as president of the Arizona Division of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, president of the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, as the Southwest Regional Coordinator for the AFCC and as a member of the International AFCC Board of Directors. Ms. Bernfeld currently maintains a private therapy practice in Tucson, Arizona.
