Welcome! I am so glad that you found my profile today. You are not alone in your struggle with anxiety, stress, grief, depression, relationship issues, and/or trauma(s), and I am her to help you find tools to heal yourself directly from within. I have been in the fields of psychology and yoga for almost 20 years for each and believe in being of service to others to help them come back to their true and balanced state of being. As an integrative practitioner, my role is to be a present and secure helper and guide for your healing journey. Through compassionate relating, we will work together to uncover and experience the great person you are and have always been even if you have felt weighed down by life.

I am a graduate of a few different, mind-body modality programs, such as Somatic Experiencing (PSEP), Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center's 200 and 500 hour Certified Yoga Teacher training programs (RYT-500), Reiki Level II Healer, Wellness Institute's Certified Hypnotherapy program (CHT), and most recently, Embodied Yoga's Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga Certificate Program. I also have advanced training approved by Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Other holistic techniques utilized in my practice are acupressure for emotional/physical health, essential oils, affirmations, and Ayurvedic principles.
I began assisting in Somatic Experiencing trainings in March 2021 and can provide personal sessions at the Beginning Level. I look forward to continuing to support SE students in their learning and further my own knowledge of touch work as it relates to assisting, for client work, and personal growth.
I am licensed in both Illinois as an LCPC and Indiana as an LMHC for behavioral health. I own a private practice in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago in Elgin, IL-we are next to I-90 and off of Randall Road in the Randall Point Executive Center for easy accessibility. We have a nature preserve along the far side of the property that lends itself to mindful walks and a meditative feel. I have clients from all over the Fox Valley and other regions come to our office but are now mostly using telehealth given COVID-19, especially for Indiana residents.
Please note: The Provisional status was newly created because my cohort finished our last module online in October 2020. We learned the same material as all other SEPs except for 6 hours of hands-on touch work. We did remote or distant touch, which added so much value to our work given how the world has had to adapt. We have the advantage of having such touch experience but will still have to complete a hands-on touch portion hopefully soon. There really is not much difference in having a “Provisional” status in front of our SEP. I thought an explanation might help to allay any fears of our qualifications being different from others that graduated before COVID-19.
I look forward to hearing from you and possibly working with you as well.
Be well and safe. Namaste!
