SE TRAUMA INSTITUTE PRACTITIONER DIRECTORY

Kay Ariel

SE™ Practitioner

I am a clinical social worker in private practice for over 35 years. I see couples as well as individual adults. I have special interest in working with depression, anxiety, bi-polar illness and developmental trauma.
There are so many issues that arise from unresolved trauma and difficult life situations. With compassion and curiosity, I support and empower my clients by drawing on a variety of modalities. I use my background in psychodynamic psychotherapy in combination with the SE body-centered techniques to promote growth and help regulate disruptions in the natural rhythm of the nervous system. Self-awareness and clarity, the ability to heal oneself and receive healing, allow all of us to lead fuller, more meaningful, less painful lives. I am committed to the possibility and the work of healing trauma.
