As people, we often build walls or layers of stone as a protection to life's sometimes rocky terrain. In therapy, I offer safety, compassion, empathy, and deep listening in an almost sacred way for softening to occur and healing to begin. It is an honor to witness this process. You may be feeling stuck, wanting more peace and joy, or desiring clarity, meaning and purpose in your life. Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, know you are not alone. People have an inner capacity for well being. Therapy simply helps to unfold this. As a somatic practitoner the nervous system plays a significant part in moving towards feeling whole again. I look at myself as a partner in becoming more attuned to this deeper part of self and unraveling or building support to renew balance, flow, coherance in our lives again.
Each person is truly unique with their own lived experiences in the world. Therefore, therapeutic process is individualistic. I utilize an integrative approach to wellness. In short, I draw from various modalities to provide a space for the whole person.
