I am approved to provide student sessions at the Beginner and Intermediate and Advanced Level. I provide online sessions.
I integrate a holistic whole body approach to Wellness, Healing & Trauma Recovery that creates new possibilities for healing and change. My practice includes Somatic Experiencing, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Attachment and Pre & Perinatal Somatics, as well as energetic and intuitive modalities I’ve been cultivating over the past 20 years. My role is to support your body’s own capacity for healing and recovery through deep listening, mindful inquiry and as appropriate, Somatic Bodywork.
While this work can be deeply therapeutic, I work with the experience of the body. I am not a psychotherapist and I do not provide talk therapy or cognitive therapy of any kind. That is out of my scope of practice.
I gently guide exploration into the body where unmetabolized life experiences/trauma reside and where symptoms in the physical, emotional and psycho-spiritual systems can develop and are in need of support. Clients enter my practice to work with issues surrounding relational and attachment ruptures, boundary violations, birth traumas. My training and experience has informed the way I work with complex medical histories, injuries, preparing and recovery from surgery, medical procedures and anesthesia. I also provide pre and post natal support, nutrition and wellness coaching support. I bring understanding and compassion to issues surrounding all sexual identities and expressions to my LGBTQIA+ community.
Sessions give the opportunity to come back into yourself and explore the innate health that is always the driving force of healing, as we touch into these very deeply held places together.
Please note: My fees are not currently covered by insurance. Unfortunately, our current healthcare system places strong restrictions on the care that people receive. I cannot provide a healthcare superbill. I can provide you with a standard billing statement that can be submitted to Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts.
I welcome all to my practice who are seeking greater embodied freedom.
This includes all colors, religions, sexes, gender identities or expressions, sexual orientations, national origins, genetics, and body types. Being human, mistakes will inevitably be made, however I am committed to the ongoing process of deepening understanding and enacting inclusion.
