This insight facilitates a path toward healing from current and past life challenges and traumatic events. Many of us are stuck in negative cycles that seemingly do not change. The powerful influence of our nervous system as it functions to try and keep us safe and intact can show up in our bodies in a variety of ways, often uncomfortable and sometimes very painful. Habits and unhelpful or limiting fixed beliefs can develop as an attempt to maintain order. Using the Somatic Experiencing approach can help to process and heal the origins of these cycles helping to create space for loving relationships, living in the present moment and creating a more fulfilling life.
