I offer integrated therapy to heal from trauma and retune your neural network for nervous system regulation that integrates Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP), Gestalt psychotherapy, and mindfulness.

I specialize in working with women that have experienced stress and trauma during their lifetime.  I have experience working with work-related stress, sexual assault, incest, adult survivors of child abuse, emotional abuse, gender-based and sexual harassment and discrimination, divorce, domestic violence, addictions, systemic oppression of women, including those experiencing PTSD or Sexism-Based Traumatic Stress (SBTS). All identities are welcome!

In addition to being a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), I offer EMDR and I am certified to deliver the Polyvagal-based Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP), https://www.eeminismtherapy.com/ssp/,  a non-invasive technology for nervous system regulation. I am a certified Gestalt therapist, and have received training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Addictions Counseling, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  and Mindful Self-Compassion.

Having had a personal mindfulness practice for more than 20 years, Lisa is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher having completed an extensive training program with the Awareness Training Institute at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center led by teachers Jack Kornfield, PhD and Tara Brach, PhD. She is also a Dharma teacher with the Insight Meditation Society in Denver, Colorado.

Lisa received her masters degree in Mindfulness-Based Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University. In addition, she is a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Master’s Program from EO/Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA.
