I bring a broad range of training and over 30 years of experience as a touch therapist to my private practice in New York City and via Telehealth. I am dedicated to embodied healing and well-being. I work holistically with a diverse group of clients presenting a wide range of concerns and I teach the Realization Process meditation. I am not a psychotherapist. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST), and I assist at trainings for both. In addition, I incorporate the energy medicine practices of Shamanism, Reiki and Esoteric Healing into my work. All of these modalities contribute to finding and supporting resilience and coherence in each session – attending to body, mind and spirit.
My deep belief in the inherent drive toward wholeness in each of us underwrites my approach which is experiential and relational, and utilizes the inherent forces of health within the body/mind and nervous system to address your personal intentions for working with me. In each session I facilitate your deepening into that natural wisdom – to heal and transform yourself with my skill and support.
Our collaborative work can address past and current overwhelming experiences (including pre & perinatal), stress, pain, constriction or simply expand on your daily practices of deep inquiry for change. I offer in-person and telehealth sessions in several formats. Many of my in-person clients have found the move to a digital platform to be seamless as we continue our work together addressing healing, transformation and presence with the new possibilities they envision for themselves.
All are welcome. I am committed to offering a nurturing and inclusive space for all people seeking support, tools and transformation. This includes all colors, sexes, gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, national origins, body types, genetics, abilities, ages and economic status. I believe racial justice and systemic change are possible and that it requires personal maturity and a capacity to tolerate discomfort and difference. I strive in my work and life to create the conditions for healing to occur in individuals, families, communities and the world.
