I believe that healing is the foundation of self-inquiry. We each seek the relational safety necessary to work on our challenges in a way that increases our self-awareness and embodied resiliency. As a practitioner of many modalities, including Chinese Medicine, my approach to clients is holistic and uses concepts that come from systems theory and system dynamics. My background in both Western and Eastern body therapies has offered direct insight into how the human body is affected by psychosocial processes that can manifest into stress illness that becomes chronic over time.
I have had an existing private practice for over two decades, working in both WA/AZ and virtually. I approach somatic therapies from a meta-disciplinary approach. Creating a container of safety and non-judgment are at the core of my practice to move through patterns that are unconscious and supporting a reciprocal and participatory process that allows an individual to be their most authentic self as a catalyst for transformation that is sustainable. My own personal journey and my work with clients, inspired me to co-produce the film, "Is Your Story Making You Sick?".
Prior to working with private clients, I came from the business world where I focused on non-violent communication, restorative practices, and social-emotional competencies to support work cultures where individuals could thrive. I continue my work as a consultant in business, with the aspiration to change our societies and create the interconnectedness that is missing in our world.
I am a certified trainer in both mindfulness and The Nurtured Heart Approach, and weave these into every session to support clients to gain more self-awareness so that the processes of self-actualization and emotional sobriety to occur. Sessions include an integrated approach that includes dreamwork, psycho-somatic techniques, and indigenous healing traditions that are trauma-informed.
I consider my own path to be one of life-long learning and am devoted to deepening my understanding of health and healing. I value relational safety, ethics, and integrity as the guiding foundations while communing with others. I am committed to and continue my studies on the practices that balance the three wisdom centers of the body (body/heart/soma). My own personal journey has shown me that incorporating a holistic and integral approach supports nervous system regulation and well-being.
Private consultations are offered in person, by phone, or online for individuals and businesses focused on conscious and intentional change.
Personal responsibility and self-sovereignty are the main focus of all offerings and sessions.
