Marion Cain
MrI came to Somatic Experiencing after a full career in the U.S. Army and federal civil Service. During my time in the Army, I served as a paratrooper and participated in two combat deployments. Later while serving in Department of Homeland Security and FEMA, I trained first responders in the intricacies of incident command, emergency management and weapons of mass destruction. While Serving in the Pentagon I learned what a powerful healing modality SE can be. After completing my SE training I continued my professional development by studying Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki. Being qualified in these three modalities allows me to move seamlessly between them depending on the specific needs of the client at that time. My extensive military experience allows me to relate easily to Veterans and spouses who may be dealing with the debilitating effects of combat related trauma. My scope of practice also includes victims of abuse, vehicle accidents, trauma, and PTSD.
