I help adults connect to their innate wisdom and intuition; helping to guide them towards a greater capacity for healing and resilience. My approach is client-centered, relational, collaborative, and direct, based on what's most helpful for the person's growth. I use somatic interventions, in conjunction with AEDP, parts work (IFS), and other trauma modalities such as EMDR and Brainspotting. I have assisted in beginning and intermediate SE trainings, completed Peter Levine's Eye of the Needle course, as well as Kathy Kain's Somatic Touch Skills program.
I am an SMI (serious mental health) advocate and have special interest and extensive knowledge on caregiver stress/burnout and the complex challenges they often face in medical/legal systems. I also enjoy helping clients work through intergenerational trauma and ambiguous grief; i.e. grieving parents who are still alive. My hope, for everyone that I work with, is that they can feel a greater sense of vitality, self-compassion, and self-agency.
