Coming to therapy to work on yourself, your relationship, or your family can be a vulnerable experience. When you come to see me to support your process you can expect me to be warm, containing, grounding and ready to meet you where you are at.
I work with:
For my work I rely on blending my training, education and experience as a marriage and family therapist, a grief counselor, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and EMDR trained therapist and history as a bodyworker to support and facilitate the healing of trauma, pain and relational wounds. However, whatever you come in with will first and foremost be met with my personhood. I believe that my own personal and relational healing is of utmost importance to me being able to take you to deep places. This makes our work together safe, secure and confident.
•Trauma, overwhelm, numbness & sensitivity
•Anxiety & Depression
•PTSD and stress disorders
•Nervous System overwhelm: Fight, Flight & Freeze
•Relational and emotional distress, pain, wounding
•Grief, loss, transitions
•Embodiment difficulties; sexual, spiritual, emotional, relational
Throughout therapy with me you can expect me to use a holistic model in treating, supporting and facilitating the healing process. Being fully alive and deeply connected, mind, heart, body & soul, I believe, is the rugged trail towards healing.
