Nima Saalabi

LMFT

I am a non-binary QTBIPOC somatic trauma therapist. I work from an embodied,  body-positive, decolonizing, sex-positive framework primarily with queer, trans, ethically non-monogamous, polyamorous, kink, BIPOC communities. I enjoy working on issues of sexual health, gender identity, cultural & racial development, queerness, integration of psychedelic & spiritual experiences, and alternative relational structures.

My approach to body psychotherapy is informed by pleasure activism, feminism, liberation psychology, & embodied decolonization pedagogy. I blend ancestral practices like dance, singing, ritual, & movement with contemporary trainings in somatic therapy, somatic abolitionism, somatic resourcing, and somatic experiencing. I have a lifelong love of conscious dance, queer art-making, & building safe spaces for folx to drop into the full range of bodily experience.

If this journey of embodied healing speaks to you feel free to reach out. I offer in person sessions in Sebastopol and teletherapy sessions to folx in California. A
