Yoga and Somatic Practice

My practice draws on my trust, my ability to orient to the individual's inner capacity to heal as well as my deep appreciation for the power of connection. In working with clients, my intention and hope are to support them in connecting with their existing resources so that their healing process may be engaged and allow the change they desire.

My boundless curiosity and deep interest in the mind-body connection led me to complete thousands of hours of training and workshops in Yoga, Meditation, Dance and Somatic practices. I have completed the Somatic Experiencing® (“SE™”) Professional Training, the Touch Skills Training for Trauma Therapists with Kathy Kain and the Somatic Resilience and Regulation with Steve Terrel and Kathy Kain. I am also a committed Assistant for the SE™ trainings and a member of the assistants' team for the Transforming the Experienced-Based Brain training.

I work from a body-oriented multidisciplinary approach integrating yoga asana, mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing™ and SE™ touch to support the self-regulation of the physiological and emotional responses and build greater Coherence. My main focus is on exploring how early experiences impact our ability for self-regulation, attachment and bonding, therefore shaping our relationships with ourselves and others.

I take great joy in sharing my experience and knowledge and in supporting students' learning and community building.
