Registered Professional Counsellor in Canada-Level: Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling.

Ofelia has been offering support in the mental health field since 2003 and is currently in private practice. She has been involved with the Suicide bereavement and caregivers community in Edmonton since 2012. Ofelia combines her professional training in Somatic Experiencing, Schema Therapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, NeuroAffetive Touch with Compassion Focused Therapy. Ofelia is Canadian citizen whose heritage includes cultures and ethnicities from Venezuela, Africa, the Canary Islands, and Indigenous (from Central and South America). Ofelia offers safe space for gender identity and sexual orientation fluidity respecting diverse self-discovery processes…  "To feel well we must befriend the community within ourselves with kindness and dignity".

Ofelia has received SEI approval to provide Personal Sessions at all SE levels and to offer Individual Case Consults at the BEG level. She has been a training assistant for the core training. She assisted in the Pain Syndromes Master Class with Peter Levine, the Advanced Level Class with Dave Berger, SE Senior Faculty, The Eye of the Needle Master Class with Dave and Abi in Saskatoon, Canada. Ofelia’s latest SE undertakings include a Master Class on Transgenerational Trauma, The Eye of The Needle I and II, and NeuroAffetive Touch training with Aline LaPierre, as well as the BIPOC cohorts. Ofelia values kindness, quiet wisdom, and generosity.
