Oksana Okhrimenko

Oksana has an experience of over 9 years working as a counsellor in Singapore providing an essential support to adult individuals and couples in the times of a crisis. She specializes in working with all kinds of trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, grief, existential crisis, and relationships issues. She is an experiential counsellor, which means that she creates the context for her clients to have the experiences necessary for change and healing. She is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SETI - Somatic Experiencing® Trauma Institute), as well as a certified practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis (Milton H. Erickson Foundation), which allows her to add to and reach beyond the cognitive-emotional dimension in her work. Oksana assists her clients in accessing their natural physiological mechanisms of self-regulation, through the embodied awareness of the felt sense, sounds, and movements. As a result of that work, her clients are able to deal with overwhelm and rediscover the sense of aliveness.
Besides counselling, Oksana also provides powerful catalyzing assistance through Leadership Coaching for individuals who want to move their careers/relationships/lives in new, meaningful, and satisfying directions. Oksana trained in using a strategic approach to coaching at the Coach Training School of Anthony Robbins.
For relationship work, Oksana uses the method developed by Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks. This method is experiential and playful in nature while also being deeply transformative. People of any gender and sexual orientation are warmly welcomed. Oksana is originally from the Ukraine. Her previous experience includes work as a research scientist at the University of Zurich and ETH, Switzerland. She moved to Singapore more than ten years ago and is familiar with expatriate and local ways of life. She is fluent in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
