Somatic Aliveness

Reaching out and asking for help is a courageous act. Everyone’s life challenges are unique, and no one deserves to deal with them in isolation. Whether you are looking to work on a current difficulty or wanting to change old patterns, I would like to help you achieve your individual goals. My work, grounded in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and other creative modalities, can help you liberate tragic stories held within your body. The body has a language and a wisdom of its own, that once heard and understood, can help the nervous system’s ability to self-regulate and move you toward wholeness and aliveness.
I also provide affirmative counseling for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer members of our community. Many LGBTQ+ people prefer to work with a gay identified therapist who can deeply understand and empathize with their life challenges. I am grateful to have the honor of providing gay affirmative counseling for over twenty years and witness the growth of many LGBTQ+ people.
