Hello! I’m Rachael. I live on Chinook land (so-called Portland, Oregon) and I’m available to work therapeutically with people residing in this ‘state.’ As a mental health therapist, I specialize in developmental and complex trauma, grief, perinatal well-being, parenting, and intergenerational healing. I draw from many areas, including touch skills for developmental trauma with Kathy Kain, trauma-informed yoga, connected/collaborative parenting, and personal practice in movement, meditation, and earth-based/spiritually-sourced ritual. As a writer, teacher, and facilitator, I also invite the power of writing and storytelling to support healing. I’m a Jewish, white, queer, cisgender female, striving for anti-oppressive growth and practices, and I'm grateful to work with activists and people who have been surviving pervasive oppression. I’m also a founding member of the Portland Threshold Singers, who provide interfaith song and presence at the thresholds of birth, death, struggle, and celebration. Please feel free to reach out about working together or simply connecting on any of the above.
