SE INTERNATIONAL PRACTITIONER DIRECTORY

Rev. Lynn E. Bourbeau

Trauma Specialist and Psychospiritual Therapist

My work is to help guide individuals on their healing paths. I utilize Somatic Experiencing as an effective tool for those challenged with any form of trauma and overwhelm in my private practice. I am an SE Senior Assistant and have assisted at over 125 NY trainings and workshops in the last 20 years. As a SE approved provider I help certify our SE participants on every level of their training (Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced) by offering personal sessions, individual and group case consultations. I also offer a Beg. 1 review for SETI for those who have taken this level by DVD.  For SE folks in training and individuals seeking therapy who are out of state I offer Zoom, FaceTime, and phone sessions. The SE Trauma Institute sanctions my teaching a three hour workshop, "Introduction to Somatic Experiencing" for CE credits. I am an invited lecturer on trauma at NYU graduate school, NY Open Center, Adelphi University, Omega Institute, therapeutic agencies, private institutes, hospitals and physical therapy facilities. I also teach private trauma workshops & have spoken on local and internet radio. Using SE tools, meditation, and music I developed a workshop entitled, "Calming Your Nervous System." I run have groups with this work in NYC and Westchester. My trauma work can be done in a face to face therapeutic format. However, I also do trauma table work incorporating Kathy Kain's touch work and intuitive healing. As a Medical and Spiritual Intuitive (clairvoyant, clairaudient, empath, kinesthetic) I incorporate energy healing in my sessions. My intuitive work is done in person and long distance. I combine my trauma & healing work for the highest good of my client's healing. Also, for SE folks seeking case consultation I use my intuitive abilities to read your clients and then help you to use the SE model to help them heal. As an ordained Interfaith Minister, I officiate at weddings, vow renewals, baby blessings and namings, memorial services, gravesite services, and Interfaith worship services. I also offer Interfaith spiritual counseling sessions to individuals and couples. I have been a Chaplain at NY Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia and NYU Langone Medical Center. As on-call Chaplain at NYU Langone Medical Center I have assisted folks passing over using the SE model. As a Alzheimer's caregiver for 14 years, I counsel and support Alzheimer's individuals, families and groups, privately and at symposiums. I have been an invited speaker for the Alzheimer's Association. I also conduct workshops on "Caregiving and Stress," using the SE model for all types of caregivers as well as Alzheimer patients. Please call upon me if I can be of service on your healing journey.
