Falling apart? Stuck? At a crossroads? Have you tried to change problem behaviors, but had no luck? I start where you are, and together we map out a route to where you want to be. Using an SE framework, as well as a variety of other approaches and techniques including EMDR, I assist you in addressing the obstacles standing in the way of thriving. As you can see below, I treat many types of trauma, and have a particular interest in treating developmental trauma and complex PTSD.  Regardless of the type of issue or trauma, my goal is to get you back to your best life as quickly as possible. I have an open, spiritual manner, and I offer hope and healing in a gently humorous and accepting way that eases pain. I am very relational and at times draw on my own life experience, including infertility, adoption, grief, trauma, dealing with a loved one's addiction, and divorce.

I also have enjoyed assisting faculty at SE trainings in Chicago (Wheaton/Glen Ellyn and the city), New York (Garrison), Anchorage, San Diego, London and Ottawa, Ontario, and Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand. I am the lead Assistant for the SE trainings in suburban Chicago, Anchorage, and Melbourne (Advanced). I have completed Touch Skills training, and its attachment-focused follow-up Somatic Resilience and Regulation, as well as Stephen Terrell's Transforming the Experience-Based Brain (TEB) touch-based attachment work.  Additional touch trainings I'm currently in are Dave Berger's BASE training and Aline LaPierre's NeuroAffective Touch training.  As you can imagine, I use touch with most of my clients (only with the client's permission) as I find it accelerates healing and is particularly helpful with early developmental trauma and with medical syndromes.  I have completed all but one module of Diane Poole Heller's DARe attachment training.

For SE students, I am an approved Session Provider and Case Consultant at all levels (Beginning through Advanced). I am also an approved Small Group Case Consultant at all levels and am approved to do Beginning 1 Reviews for those who have done Beginning 1 on video. I can provide these services for SE students in-person or online.

My office is in west suburban Glen Ellyn and I work with clients from the entire Chicagoland area. I am also a trained Divorce and Family Mediator, approved with the Family Courts in DuPage and Kane Counties.
