Stephen F. Boy

SE™ Practitioner

Stephen F. Boy, Ph.D.

I have been a licensed psychologist since 1987 and have worked with adult patients in hospitals (including the Boston Veterans' Administration Medical Center), in day programs, and as outpatients. I have divided my time for the past 30 years between my office private practice and the Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, Haverhill, MA where I treat patients with trauma from accidents, surgeries, strokes, and other severe medical illnesses. I became increasingly disillusioned with our cultural over-dependence on drugs to treat mental, spiritual, and physical suffering and have renewed my commitment to psychological change and Somatic Experience treatment, completing SE training in 2015. I have a reputation for being very interactive and candid and I create treatment that responds to an individual's unique needs. I always make room for new adult patients motivated to change.
