SEP

My body-based practice helps clients find ease in moving and connecting. I enjoy working with people whose "stuckness" presents in unresolved physical patterns. Our therapy time together builds on relationships -- inside and out -- that move the organism toward healing, a little at a time. Clients include those seeking relief from pain, anxiety/ depression, and stress/ trauma; shock trauma as well as traumatic disconnect that has developed over time.  Within my scope of practice, our work will relate as those issues show up in the body.

My SE practice is complemented by years of study and practice in manual therapies that address alignment of structure, fluid systems, and viscera.  During SE sessions we might expect: attention to gesture and posture, movement through space, habitual patterns, and developing client curiosity and skills in bringing awareness to impulses toward agency. Hands-on work is NOT a given: we may work in chairs, standing or seated on the floor. And of course client's perception of safety is priority!

I love how SE teaches us to rely on our senses, and less on cognitive figuring-out. As part of the growing SE community worldwide, we're able to empower others while developing our own capacity.

For SE training participants: I'm an SEI approved provider for  individual sessions and consults at all levels (Beg, Int, Adv). Contact me to join my small group consults (Beginning level).
