I specialize in the treatment of stress and trauma-related injuries: Relational and attachment wounds such as childhood physical, sexual, emotional and verbal abuse and neglect, combat/war-related trauma, accidents, natural disasters, sexual assault and complex grief. Other areas of treatment: Life transitions, loss and bereavement, phobias, separations and divorce, transition to parenting and other parent-child issues. Treatment for Diagnostic Categories includes: Trauma, Posttraumatic Stress Injury/Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders including PPD, Addictions, Complex Bereavement.
My background is in psychodynamic psychotherapy (Object Relations and Attachment). I am Certified and an Approved-Consultant in Attachment-Focused-EMDR as well as a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).
