I have worked in mental health services since 1988 and have worked with many different people and issues.
I believe that developing awareness, of emotions, thoughts and behavior and the body's response to trauma, is the starting place for change. Understanding where we come from and what got us here can be helpful, but changing what we do today is the best way to feel a sense of power in a chaotic world.
