Wanda Brothers is a licensed Marriage and family therapist specializing in body-centered therapies. In 2008 she founded Real Life Solutions, a private practice specializing in Somatic Therapy and providing Educational Workshops and presentations. She has presented Internationally and at the USABP conference. She has been a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner for over 10 years and is experienced in EMDR as well as Touch Skills trainings, a modality of touch working directly with the Autonomic Nervous System. She assists new SE classes and has had the role of Lead Assistant.
Wanda has attended and now assists at all of Diane Poole-Heller's Attachment Therapy modules (DARe/SATe workshops) and has now completed her DARe provider certification and she incorporates somatic attachment theory and healing into her SE practice. She specializes in helping clients suffering from the symptoms of emotional and sexual abuse, family violence, accidents, spiritual issues, surgical traumas, addictive family systems, debilitating anxiety, and disasters. She has utilized her unique blend of talk therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and body-focused modalities as far away as Africa where she worked with the war orphans in Northern Uganda.
