Hello, my name is Pete Sandoval. I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Therapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am originally from the US where I gained 11 years of clinical psychotherapy experience in both a non-profit agency and in private practice. Now, having moved to Ontario, I am bringing that experience to the Kitchener-Waterloo area while working under the supervision of a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO as I work towards my approval as an independent Registered Psychotherapist.
**I am an approved session provider for SE students at the Beginning AND Intermediate levels.
I specialize in working with adults with a wide array of trauma challenges. These types of trauma include developmental/attachment oriented, physical and/or sexual abuse, medical trauma, chronic health/syndromal, chronic pain, and single incident trauma.
I believe very strongly in the brain-body connection and working with clients to integrate their entire being. I work with clients to help them find their inner strengths and facilitate healing. I use the latest neuroscience research combined with somatic awareness and mindfulness practices to collaborate with clients on meeting their individual and relational goals. I create space for people to find their authentic gifts, experience healing, and exceed their greatest potential.
