I have been a licensed psychologist since 1987 and have worked with adult patients in hospitals (including the Boston Veterans' Administration Medical Center), in day programs, and as outpatients. I have divided my time for the past 30 years between private practice and the Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital, Haverhill, MA where I treat patients with trauma from accidents, surgeries, strokes, and other severe medical illnesses with a focus on SE. I became increasingly disillusioned with our cultural over-dependence on drugs to treat mental, spiritual, and physical suffering and have renewed my commitment to psychological change and Somatic Experience treatment, completing SE training in 2015. I am interactive and I work to create treatment that responds to an individual's nervous system. I always try to make room for new adult patients interested in working to heal trauma and its effects in their lives. I particularly enjoy working with SE students.
