SE™ INTERNATIONAL PRACTITIONER DIRECTORY

Tanu Syed

SEP, Senior assistant. Craniosacral therapist.

I offer personal sessions and supervision/case consultations to individual students and groups up to 3, for all levels of SE training programs internationally and to qualified SEP's. Recognised by EASE and SEI.
I am interested to work with people who have been directly or vicariously effected by trauma.
Further professional development includes: Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) with Laurence Heller Phd, Integral Somatic Psychotherapy (ISP) with Raja Selvam Phd, advanced studies including Trauma Informed Stabilisation Treatment parts 1&2 (TIST) with Dr Janina Fisher, and the Bodynamics foundation course. This further study including a life in yoga and art practice informs my therapeutic presence.
Having trained in Yoga in 2004 , with my partner Sama Fabian we co-run the Greenhouse School of Yoga, Swansea UK which offers yoga teachers training, retreats and further study.
I have lived experience of transcultural, bi-racial and queer intersectionality. I work with people of all genders, all faiths and non. I love that with SE we are trained to relate to the physiology, beneath the story or event. This therapeutic presence implies we can potentially work with anyone, meaning those we deem to have different allegiances or identities from our own.  I am curious about trans-generational, collective and systemic trauma, and the fields of awareness and experience that exceed the nuclear family. I worked with the African Community Centre in Swansea for 3 years, offering individual sessions in SE and CST as well as yoga classes for women.
Having worked in the healing arts and personal development since the 90's, I completed my SE training in 2014,  and have assisted in London, Edinburgh, Cairo and Budapest.
I also work with moral injury and climate grief.
